Hý all. We are a couple and wýll be crossýng by land from Turkey ýnto Iran ýn a week or so. We wýll go through Tabrýz, Tehran and then Isfahan. We havent booked hotels, and the questýon ýs can we fýnd a budget hotel upon arrýval (by bus or traýn) ýn Tabriz and Tehran (at least Tabriz)? We are happy to pay 10 USD per person per nýght, but ýt can be more ýf ýt has to be. And by the way can you reccommend some places?
We have been travellýng ýn Eastern Turkey and we found no problem fýndýng a hotel upon arrýval but I dont know the sýtuatýon after crossýng the Iranýan border.

i was last week in Guesthouse Darya in Tabriz (not Hotel Darya, which is a big expensive hotel), and it was a nice place, not too far from the centre. The owner, Ahmad, is very friendly. I think the normal price for a room with bathroom (clean) was 150'000R, but i ve'paid only 120'000. It seems a lot of japanese people go there.
