Budget airline has been flying from UAE to Iran for years

Its a very good price for that distance....AirAsia are doing a good job starting that route again.They used to fly it 4 or 5 years ago.

I think there are also going to be direct flights to and from Bangkok.

I thought it was a good price, too. I'm not sure how easy it would be to take an Air Asia flight for eight hours, though. DesertToJungle - be sure to take a good book or two!

I have just booked this also. Unbelievably cheap. Does anyone know if Air Asia is ok with letting you board without a visa if you are from one of the countries eligible for visa on arrival?

I think they are strict with the visa thing, as the people at the counter always check them. As a Filipino passport holder, I am eligible for visa on arrival but I just want to make sure so I will apply for one in the embassy here in Manila.
