I would like to vist Tehran in August of this year. Would appreciate any information about three star hotels in the city centre. What are the approximate cots for bed and breakfast. Any advice greatly appreciated

Hello,

For a room in a 3-star hotel in Tehran, expect to pay something $50 to $80.
Just for example:

Iranshahr Hotel
Atlas Hotel
Roudaki Hotel
Indian Safir Hotel

Hotel Shiraz(Saadi street) charges 38 usd(33000 tooman) for one single. Nice place full with local people.Close to the metro station Saadi.

I can recommend Hotel Khayyam just off Amir Kabir St. in Tehran. About $25 for a double. Very nice place, great owner/manager. Was being redone when I was last there. Right by all the main attractions in downtown Tehran (Tehran Museum, Golestan Palace, Bazaar-e Bozorg, the Grand Bazaar). Breakfast included.
