Hi! Just two more weeks until arrival to Iran... I'm wondering whether anybody had some good experience with accommodation in Ramsar & Rasht (mid-budget) - nothing fancy, just a clean, fairly decent place to stay. Or perhaps some other place at or very near to Caxspain well worth going to? Would be there around 10 September. Is it still high tourist season at the Caspian then ? Advisable to book well ahead ?

Hi,
If I were you I would not go to Rasht. I was there yesterday and there was nothing to see or do. If you want to go to the Caspian Coast Chalus is a better option, I'd say.

As for Rasht, we don't intend to do some big sightseeing there it would be just a basis for trip into surroundings.
Regarding Chalus, any concrete recommendations for accommodation?
What about the room availability at the Caspian around Sep 10 ? Any influence of ramazan on tourist season?
