Thankyou amiriniran. This is very good news for travellers and Irans tourism.

Unfortunately for me, my application has already been lodged at the Ministry, (sigh..) at least I know I have something to fall back on if they don't deliver my authorisation code in time.

Thanks soo much amiriniran!!

Now quickly i have looked online for something regarding the 15-Day visa on the offical websites so I can print it out but cant find anything. Does anyone know where it can be found in english or not just so i can print it out and had something to show Immigration/Airline if there is are any hassles. I cant afford to be denied a visa and be sent back to dubai. Does this 15-Day visa thing also apply to Shiraz Airport?

Thanks again!

P.S. I intend on flying to Tehran this Thursday.

Im still having no luck at all in finding anything in writing on any official website, i really dont want to arrive in Tehran without some evidence of the visa being available, dont want to be deported!

ohmygoshhh, you have more chance of being denied by the airline, than by immigration. Check with the airline, make sure they know about the recent changes before you book.
It can be very costly for an airline, to have one of their passengers sent back by immigration.
