Hi,

Has anyone worked on super/mega yachts at all???

I am very interested and would love as much information about this as possible. I am asking about anything from where to locate the yachts... preferably in the USA to the work involved on the yachts. I am looking at working as a Stewardess.

Hoping to hear from anyone with some helpful info....

There are several dedicated websites where crew positions are advertised:

Either you look for a boat there, or you register as 'available crew' and wait for anyone to contact you.

I did it, and crewed on a delivery trip of a 57ft sailboat from the UK->Canaries->StLucia->British Virgin Islands.

(you can read about it in The Road to the Horizon -> look for the shortstories 'Logs of a TransAtlantic crossing... )

Only one word of caution: often ads can be seen for 'female crew only'... There are some weirdo's out there that look for a girlfriend more than a crew...

I've worked on a few and designed one. I found the easiest way was just to talk to the crew, as you tend to congregate at the same bars, and know which yachts are short. Won't make you rich, but quite a good laugh.
