UK - Norway

hi guys,

i'm looking for a possibility to get on a ship from the United Kingdom to Norway in December. i'm prepared to work, and pay, of course. i know there are no ferries running in winter from UK to Norway so i know it has to be a freighter or cargo-ship. is there a lot of traffic on the stretch? and are there any permission-requirements that would possibly stop me?

That must be news to DFDS who run a twice weekly service Newcastle - Stavanger - Haugesund - Bergen

And as for finding a paying job - no chance
