well! I own a boat yard of fallen dreams. or so people around me would like to think. I was the laughing stock that everybody took advantage of at my expense. but as 06 unfolded and the boat came into being, people of whom took great pleasure in my demize, are now paying the karmic price. one wind storm cost thousands, one earthwake that rolled the boat over and damaged the hull. and one flood that floated the hull out of the shop. other than that we are nearing completion, soon to be on the ocean perminently. I will miss all the negitive people of whom tried despertly to see me fail at all cost! now they drive by in shame. so build on get some paint on her, put her in the water and orb on.

two very small facts that seem to go unnoticed! first: a sailor, boat builder or any person that has tried to start or finish a vessel, does not or has not ever in my 30 years of knowing every attacted another soul trying to get a vessel wet.
second: I have only seen want-a- be sailors seting in one of those soft folding recliners with a BIG handle on the side, attact people of whom are trying to grow closer to mother earth by sailing toward the sea.
perhaps they some sexual connection with that BIG handle!

San Carlos, Senora, MX. and the area about 50 miles North is the best crusing ground in the Gulfo de California. How would I know? I base out of there. Been there more times than I can remember. I've been to Baja Sur and for desolute beauty it nice. But the San Carlos area is the place for a sailor. The best diving on the West coast of MX. If I end up at the marina as a old sea dog with a botle of rum and cement garbage scow for a boat I'd take that to a NY City Yacht Club berth any day!
