Has anyone been on the "Encounter with Ancient Times" shore excursion in Acapulco with Princess Cruises? This is the one with a 3.5 ride to Xochicalco and the Pyramid of Quetzacoatl. My husband really wants to go on it but tends to get sick on buses. If it's a nice Greyhound-like, air-conditioned bus, he'll probably be fine. But if it's a crappy little bumpy local tour bus, he will likely get sick. Just wondering if anyone knows what we'll be in for?

I worked for Princess Cruises for 3.5 years (as a teen activities coordinator) and the advice i would give you is to check with your travel agent or on the shore tours page on princess.com Mexico is pretty full on and there are many different forms of transport, it just depends on what the cruise line has booked for the tour. I would say, in my experience, there is about 50/50 chance of getting air con on a tour bus...
