Monofoil, but I can just see it spinning out of control with disastrous consequences. Who knows though? This could be the future of sailing.

We built a hydroplane International Moth, an 11' dinghy, in the nineties. It was a bugger to tack, but went like a rocket.

This is one someonelse did better. We also tried a SWASH - Small waterplane, single hull. That was a disaster
