I met these people in Dili East Timor

They shipped their Landcruiser from Dili to Darwin after driving from England.

It is easier leaving Australia than entering with a vehicle.

you can also ship vehicles from Freemantle in Oz to Surabayah in Indonesia and carry on from there.

There are probably more direct routes if you want to skip Indonesia. (but it would be a shame)
