Hallo, we are a couple with a 14 months old girl planning a week in Sanur, Bali this March and I was wondering if some of you can suggest a hotel/place to stay preferably with baby sitting service so that I can take a break myself. Also, how's the poultry virus situation (is that how it's called? sorry I'm not a native English speaker) in Bali?
Thanks a million in advance,
Silvia

Well we were planning Kids to go, but some off the places we really want to see i don't really feel comfortable or safe about bring my kids who will be 3, 4 1/2 and 9 1/2 when we go. ( Such as Africa)

My mum has come up with a solution, she is retiring early at age of 55, and has offered to take them for 6 months while we travel, my kids are extremely close to my mum, my oldest actually wants to go and live with her ( must be her swimmimng pool)

I feel this is the one chance i will get because i…

Well, after 3 years rooted in suburban life, it is time to hit the road again...we leave in June for a year or so in Asia and, for the first time, Africa. Our daughter is 8 now and we would like to do a safari in Tanzania, visit Zanzibar, South Africa (Kruger, Garden Route, Cape Town), Namibia, and perhaps Victoria Falls and Madagascar. Anyone with experience in Africa with children? Have I chosen the right places? Would three months be appropriate? Is renting a car our best option? We are…

You may have already been to France, but I need some insight from all those 'on the move'! I'm cross threading this too.

As a traveller, from my own experience, you want somewhere cheap to stay that is clean and basic ... a little off the beaten track maybe as long as it doesn't mean walking for miles with your 20kg pack in the blistering heat.

WHAT do you WANT?
Would a small hostel that caters for 15 suit you? Breakfast? Local pool within 5mn walk? Cooking facilities? Laundry? TELL me some…

Hello all,

My partner and I wish to travel for a month or so at the end of the year. We will be taking our little son with us who will be one in August. The thing is, we just don't know where to go. We plan on going in November/December, so lots of places will be cold.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Any suggestions would be warmly received!

Regards,

Lara~

My wife, two sons and I arrive in Cyprus at the end of March and stay there for one week in the southwest near Pafos. We'll walk in Akamas and visit some historical sites, but will anyone recommend for me some ideas for our five- and seven-year old children? They're active if we're lucky, but usually they are in a rambunctious state of behaviour. Please help.

Bear with me, as this may take a while, but I would appreciate people's thoughts....
My partner and I have both travelled (individually and together) and are also both now fed up in London, having been settled down with mortgage etc. for a few years now. We have two children (2 1/2 and 7 months) and have always thought it would be great to go travelling with them.
Things here seem to be coming to a head- I am unhappy at work (and have been for a while now), the cost of living is starting to…
