We will be traveling to New Zealand for four weeks with our 2 year old in June/July. We'd love to see as much of the country as we can, but we realize that we just can't travel like we used to and need to pay attention to naps, mealtimes and other toddler necessities. Does anyone know a good book on baby health?

I'll be traveling with my then 1 year old daughter this summer from the US to Copenhagen. Any advise? How do I keep her quiet? Do I need medication to alleviate pain from take off? This is the first time traveling with my child since she was born and I'm just a little nervous. I remember cursing silently to myself when I saw a baby near me on a plane and I just don't want people to be too uncomfortable around me.

My husband and I love sailing and used to do lot's of sailing every summer. Last May our daughter was born so we had
one summer with out sailing. This year we plan going sailing for one week in Greece (we are Greeks) and are wondering whether or not we should take with us small Irini, who will be 14-15 months old.
Has any one had any experience sailign with a baby ?

We would like to go somewhere warm in september time with what will be our 4-5 month old baby. We are in the UK and want to go somewhere which has a nice town with a child friendly beach, as we don't want to hire a car, so want to be located in the same place all week. We would like it to be fairly quiet and unspoilt- obviuosly night lif wont be a priority for us - scenery is!

Any ideas?

Can anyone give me info on an agency to use to find babysitter for my 20 month old while we are in Barcelona over Easter 2004? We are staying at a rented apartment in the Bario Gothic and so do not have access to hotel facilities such as childcare.

She always comes to restaurants. In fact she recently chomped her way through a 3 hour 10 courses at Chinese new year banquet!!!
However we would like just one night out nightclubbing till sunrise. I don't think Toddlers and nightclubs are a good mix!

Anyone done this? Am very keen to take my older children camel trekking, but that means taking the three year old too. I think a morning is probably the most he will be able to bear - but does anyone have any experience of this or any hints? Dread to think he will loathe it after half an hour and want to get down...

Hello all - We will be travelling with our three teens to SEA this summer. They are twin 13 year old girls and a 15 year old boy. We've all been to Saigon before (lived there for several months) and have seen quite a bit of the surrounding area as well. We are going to Croatia June 2004 for 2 weeks with our sons age 7 & 8 flying into Dubrovnik.

Any suggestions for nice self catering accomodation to rent in Dubrovnik for a few days on arrival, for a few days on Mjlet then for a week somewhere on the coast between Dubrovnik & Zadar (pool would be great!)? Or has anyone been to a family hotel with a pool that they would recommend?

Any info also on Mjlet - how long would you recommend to stay there and are there safe areas for children to canoe?
