Would love some suggestions of places to see/things to do with a 2-year old around the Tampa area. Or any suggestions of websites that might be helpful.

Anything from nice parks to see, attractions, entertainment/arts etc would be much appreciated.

Thanks for any help.

I'm concerned that my son's (Iraqi) father may try to abduct him from the UK where we all live. My son's father's name is not on his birth certificate (specifically because of my fear about this). Am I being paranoid or am I right that if my son's father's name was added to his birth certificate then his father could apply for an Iraqi passport and take him out of the country? Is there anything I can do to ensure the security of my son's whereabouts?
Thanks in advance for any advice

I'll be in Europe with my three kids (under 7 years old) and wife in March and April. Any suggestions as to where to take them skiing at the end of March, around Easter, that is not too expensive.
I've spent time on the internet but there just seems to be so many places to go it gets confusing.
The kids are beginners by the way.
Thanks in advance.

last weekend in april, with my mother who doesn't swim, doesn't appear in a bathing suit, and doesn't even like to sit on the beach, and my children, who do like to do those things and are four (and just growing out of that toddler wildness) and a well behaved, but picky eating seven.
any suggestions, particularly places to stay are very welcome.
granny, who's footing the bill, chose the location so please don't suggest other destinations
She suggested a b&b that she saw in last weeks NY Times, but…

Planning a trip to Barbados with our 14 month old daughter in March and have a couple of questions.

1 best area to stay - nice beach, gentle water, not too lively (accomodation recommendations??)

2 we're planning on hiring a car, do car rental places also hire car seats??

3 ideas of things to do with someone with the attention span of a goldfish (daughter not partner!!)

plus any general advice, words of wisdom from people that might be useful

Thanks

Sara

My husband and I are well travelled and are seriously considering the benefits/downsides to travelling for 3 years (our maximum allowance from work). ( We believe it's the fear of not knowing what may-may not happen that holds you back.)

In light of natural disasters and people in need of basic requirements around the globe we feel we are in a position to help out where we can. Impactive disasters like the Tsunami really make these tragedies hit home stronger than the trickle of regular deaths…

We are travelling to Malaysia with 2 little ones (1 yr & 3 yr) and will likely hire a car. Not sure if we'll do it with a driver, or do it ourselves (leaning towards to the latter).

Does anyone know if the car companies will loan car seats? We'll probably hire the car in KL, and head up the coast. I am OK with the 3 yrd old not have a booster seat, but the 1 yr old definitely will need to be restrained!!

I don't want to bring our own seats, as we will only need them for a short portion of the…
