This is not really a very adventurous plan we have, but looking for info here anyway. Can anyone recommend a family-oriented cottage resort in Ontario or in the Laurentians area of Quebec? Looking for a group of cottages with facilities like a pool, playground, maybe even a kids' program and restaurant on site. Basically a place where our kids can meet other kids easily and have things to do so we can supervise them from our deck chairs while sipping drinks (only partially kidding here!!). I've…

I think that SMA is a international brand however I would appreciate confirmation that SMA Gold is readily available in: Australia, Bangkok & Singapore.
Can I import my own formula when entering these places?

Thanks

think that you will really like these pictures on this site.
Click the regions section, there are some very nice pictures on the "picture show" on all regions.
Never mind the visa information section, the information they have printed is rather dated, I think that the web site is from the year 2000,but the pictures are worth looking.

My family and I are planning to visit Switzerland this summer. We have 2 little girls, 3 and 4. Plus we are bringing our dog.
We plan on staying on a farm in central Switzerland near Luzern.

Can anyone suggest day trips for the kids w/wo the dog? Any favorite places to eat?
Or good website to reference?

Thanks

Karen

Hello! Me and my wife will go to Argentina in the beginning of march for 6 weeks, bringing our 9-month old son. Besides BA, we will probably go in the areas of Peninsula Valdes, Bariloche and El Calafate. Travelling within those areas, but flying between. Any experiences on nice places to stay in and around these places (we could pay 20-60 US dollars a night), any good dayhikes with a kid on your back? Any idea if one could survive as a vegetarian?

/Mikael

I will be travelling to Singapore in March with our 6 month old for 8 days. My husband is travelling for work, so the hotel is already arranged in the Bugis Junction district. I believe taxis and MRT are best for transportation. I am assuming that strollers won't be a problem on the MRT but am not sure on the laws on travelling in taxis with babies, we will at least need a taxi from the airport and don't really want to lug the baby capsule with us? Any information on this and/or any other…

I am sure there are many posts to this effect (affect?) however, I feel that this might be really handy.

Some suggestions about strollers, soft carriers, clothes, food, travel feeding systems, car/driving arrangements in various places and what you did!?!

If you could list the top ten things you couldn't have travelled without, I think it might be REALLY HANDY.

1. travel stroller
2. soft carrier
3. wetwipes
4. activity blocks that played music
5. onesies (like 10 of them)
6. ziplock baggies (some with…

I'm after some help/information from anyone who has travelled with a pre-toddler to Bali (Kuta). We have a wedding to attend and really want to take out little one with us but I'm a little apprehensive about a few things and am not sure where to begin looking for answers.. I guess my main concerns are health, does she need any vaccinations for Bali, what is their health/emergency infrastructure like for children, food and water for her (Bali Belly!!) and lastly travelling from Kuta to elsewhere…

We need to visit somebody in Fuengirola for a week. What town near there should we stay in to give us a bit more flavor of Spain? There are my husband and 2 sons, 6 and 10. We plan on taking day trips to Ronda, Gibraltar and Granada while we are there.
Thanks

We're dying for some travel and relaxation and need advice on an island or beach destination in the Pacific or Central America. We used to do backpacker style but need to go a little more upscale with amenities for our little one (kitchen, etc.) without totally losing the travel adventure feeling.

This is what we're looking for:

- a wide clean beach (so he can run awhile before we have to get up to chase him)
- gentle tides or tidepools
- mid-range accomodations ($50/night?) that are clean and…
