My husband & I lived in Lesotho for 2 yrs in the mid-90s and traveled throughout southern Africa (&the world9) since but this will be our first time back w our boys (5 & 8). We always travel w/o reservations or a set itinerary but my husband is feeling like that should change since the boys are w us. Would love to hear experiences w accommodations, is it necessary to…

Any suggestions on where to go with 4 and 5 year olds for up to 6 weeks around July?
Both my wife and I are experienced travelers and have been many places, but we don't have much experience traveling with kids (did a one week trip to Morocco 2 years ago, but just stayed in one place the entire week).
Pretty much anyplace is an option. Places we are considering are China (South and NW) and Peru. What are some places you would recommend?

Hello everyone,
I have the fortune to have a month off work, and plan a 4-5 week trip with our 2 boys, 3 and 1.5 yrs.
We live in Switzerland, and have travelled 'locally' quite a lot, and are prepared to brave a long haul flight, although Australia is too far. We want to keep things easy for ourselves (kids facilities, restaurants etc), so the US is an obvious draw.
My plan is 2 weeks in Florida, travelling around, and 2 weeks chilling out in the Caribbean. I'm cool with what to do when I'm there…
We live in Southampton, UK. We want to take kids on a trip where they can see something different and have activities. Please share your best Easter breaks.
Thanks,
Moustafa
I am just curious to hear people's opinions on this... we're travelling with our 26 month old daughter on a 10 hour overnight flight from the US to Europe next week. She's travelled between the US and Europe numerous times, and she doesn't usually sleep a lot... coming here she slept 1 hour and a half our of the 10 hours- that was a day time flight but her track record is not much better on night flights.
I travel a lot myself and sometimes take benadryl for overnight flights- i find it makes…
Hi
this is my first post so thanks for reading.
I want to take my 11 year old daughter to the Phillipines,
i would like to do surfing, snorkeling and volcanoe climbing.
I would prefer to stay away from shopping as much as possible but would like my child to experience a beautiful place and different culture.
I have thought about Mindanao, Siargao, davao, CDO.
any suggestions on where to go would be welcome.
Best wishes to everyone.
We're arriving in Cancun in mid-Jan and would like to find some kid-friendly accomodation within a couple hours of Cancun. We're low maintenance (no need for pools or babysitting) but we need fans at night and a good swimming beach (calm, not too steep) for our budding snorkeller. Nearby beach-combing/tide pools would be icing on the cake. Any suggestions? Our budget is $50-100 a night.
Does anyone know what the weight limit for the bulkhead baby bassinet is?
I seem to remember that Japan Airlines had 10kgs as the limit. Does this sound correct and is it the same for all airlines?
We're about the fly Air China and I haven't been able to find out from them.
Thanks
Hi ,
After some research we are planning on spending 1 month in the yucatan ( return for me after 19 years but first visit for my kids and partner). We plan to go cancun ( fly in from uk) - merida - monuments on route - chetumal - tulum ( few days sun and sea) back to cancun to fly out.
Do not plan to spend any real time in cancun.
Any ideas of places to stay or visit please?
Kids will be 8 and 10 and very well travelled.
Thanks in advance
