what is the best time to visit NZ for lots of fruits, lots of flowers and lots of greenery?
My wife and I, my mother(72 yrs old) and my son(4 yrs old) would like to visit NZ and would like to get some feedback from all regarding the best timing to visit.

| max507:10 UTC28 Jan 2004 | For fruits- NZ summer/autumn so Dec-April would be best.
For flowers- spring- so sept-november
Greenery- all year around especially in the Sth Island.
If you dont like cold and are not interested in skiing etc I'd recommend spring/summer.
Late Jan early Feb is usually the hottest time if you want to avoid that.
