Hi all - we are travelling for 2 1/2 weeks in turkey with our 2 year old daughter at the end of April/beginning of May and trying to decide what carrying system to bring.
We just arrived home from Arizona and wished we brought our stroller - she was really unhappy in the backpack carriers we had - a Phil and teds escape and a beco both of which she used to love.
She loves the jogging stroller but a)it is kind of bulky and b)just not sure if it is useful in Turkey or even would be a hindrance.. So I thought I'd ask advice of those in the know. We've never taken a stroller on any of our travels other than an umbrella stroller - but is suspect it wouldn't be useful on the cobblestone of Sultanamet. We are also travelling to Cirali, Cappadocia and Bursa. We will have vehicle transport and are flying so probably could swing the stroller - but don't want to lug it around if it isn't useful.
That said, she IS two and who knows what she'll be screaming about in two months! However, what are your thoughts on strollers in Turkey?
Oh - and any thoughts on car seats on Turkish Airlines (from Frankfurt) ? it is way easier for her to sleep in one now that she has her own seat.
Thanks.
