I would be interested to hear from any other families who have travelled recently with this company. We have 3 children ages 12, 10 and 8 and would like to go on one of the trips with Explore. The places we are particuarly interested in are India, Peru, South Africa and Morocco. My main concerns are health and safety.
Any info from anyone who has been with this or a similar type company would be great.

Thanks

I am also looking for families who could give information on the type of hoiliday with Explore that you mentioned. I am planning a holiday this summer with my 11-year old daughter in either Peru, Tanzania or Sri Lanka and like you am interested in the safety health aspect, particularly things like altitude sickness in Peru etc. I'll send you a link if I receive any information.

I have also been looking into Peru or India and was looking at a trip run by Intrepid, we did a Family Tour with Intrepid to Vietnam and it was very good, however as above was asking about altitude sickness and health safety in India, I have asked the travel agent she said she would email some information, I will post if I receive it, also Intrepid tours are a little cheaper and have a deal running where if you book and pay by June I think one child travels free on the tour !!

The advantage of tours like this, is that everything is arranged, and you don't have to worry about accomodation and transport.
Disadvantage is that they might be twice as expensive as doing it by yourself, and the lack of freedom to go wherever you want. If one of you falls sick, you won't have time to recover for a few days before traveling on.
But if time is limited and money is not the biggest issue, it might be a good idea.
