Finally getting chilly and the woodstove is ticking. So we put our Ger. fingerling potatoes, garlic, rosemaryand olive oil in foil on the draft shelf; then grilled mackeral, well-basted with Dijon mustard, good soy sauce and garlic over the coals. Broccoli (from the garden) and garlic, steamed on the stove top....... OMG it was lovely! Bring on winter; life is good.
