I am sick of your posts asking for the removal of 'Ahem'....

What ye and Grecian share is this: ye are both almost, but not totally, incapable of posting either something positive or humorous. Stems, mesuspects, frae being just that wee bit too far up yer own arse.

Brock: it just pisses me off, is largely not needed and may be counter-productive. It also seems a wee bit - just a wee bit - patronising.

I have nothing against the mods (they do a fine if thankless job) - but seeing the reminder all the while just irks. Also, a part of me wonders if LPTT is not inadvertently setting itself up - still, I'm sure they know what they're doing.

I agree that the Ahem should go -- its permanent departure should go hand-in-hand with the permanent departure of a certain highly annoying poster, who seems to have been temporarily wiped off.

I totally agree that 'Ahem' (the original) should go. I did suggest about a week after its appearance that Yersinia should, as a gesture of goodwill, unsticky the sticky as it could always be reinstated if necessary. But, alas, it fell on deaf ears.
