I often find myself on the road cycling about the City and in the mood for a late lunch.

Yesterday was like that and I stopped by a favourite Indian veggie place.

Error, Error, Error!

Ordered an appetiser plate and ate far too many fried things-you know the drill, Samosas, Pakoras and the like-sat like iron in my guts and made peddling difficult.

Combine that with a couple Carrot Burfies and my day was ruined.

So what should person look for in terms of a healthy lunch that provides energy not drains it?

TIA

Complicated answer, really depends on your afternoon activities. If you can include some fats, protein and carbos, you should be ok. Understanding low and high GI carbos is the key.

A few satay skewers, with cucumber. Light, and getting both meat and veg also easy on the pocketbook.
