unless you can empathize with my frustration and want to disrect such choice words to the grinches who are responsible. I've been trying to post the message below for the past hour, but the search function doesn't work and I can't get a line on my most recent posts. So I'm documenting perhaps a time travel first for this site. To wit....

One already exists, and I last posted there @ 9:06 on 11/21 from Nagoya, Japan.

I was hoping to post, yet again from San Francisco during the 9 o'clock hour, on 11/21.

However, the search functions seems to be all messed up.
It doesn't recognize my handle nor does it give me my latest posts.

So I'm creating my opwn thread to document my "double-header" (snide comments and innuendos will be ignored).

Just in time for the holidays Search is, indeed, broken again. We get what we pay for.

The Today page seems to be updating (at least mine is), so perhaps you may find your prior post that way?

Food related -- how were the meals on your flight from Japan?

Take your initial estimate, double that and add 20 percent.
It always takes more time and money than you think it should.

They are beginning the migration to TT4 today, so glitches are to be expected.

Where was the promised one-day warning for the change-over.? Sigh. On THE busiest travel days of the year in USA, the solice of TT is denied to those who are spending hours unexpectedly in cities/airports perhaps not of their choice.

I'm thankful that we're planning to drive. And have family permission/encouragement to stay home tomorrow if it's snowing.

#2 -- Nutrax, do you happen to know how long the migration will take?

No, I don't. I think the hiccuping might be due to taking various databases offline while they are backed up or something. On the other hand, the search engine goes on strike every so often without any prompting from the IT staff.

midwesterner - 11/21/2007,

I flew on NWA, so the food was better than on United (which I took to Japan 3 years prior).
However, it was the typical microwave service. I'm not complaining, since I was traveling coach, and I had had a great Japanese breakfast when I left Nagoya.
