No sink cooking techniques?

When we go camping I boil soapy water in a pot or pan, let it cool, wash dishes in it and then rinse it with water we bring with us. I've never had any problems with the rinse water being cool since the dish water is hot. Works for me.

I was saddened to read the thread about HenningWessel's passing and was surprised to see his post at #2 while randomly reading threads.
