I have some lasagna noodles in a tall pasta jar. I cannot remember if they are no-bake or regular noodles. Does anyone know a quick way to tell the difference? Many thanks!

No-bake tend to be perfectly flat. Boil-first often have ruffly edges. Boil-first are usually thicker.

Then I think maybe they are boil first. Thank you!

If you're actually cooking them as part of a lasagna it won't make a difference...just coat them thoroughly with sauce.

Boil-first noodles used in lasagna with out boiling first can produce some rather interesting results. Layers of sauce, meat, and glue.

I found this out the hard way.
