I know it gets done at least once a month, BUT, I have a beast of a hangover this morning. My usual cure for this serious medical condition is the well known locally made aperitif Noilly Prat vermouth. I have had 2 so far, and am now starting to feel on top of the world. I would highly recommend this, or any other vermouth/martini product.
Does anyone have thier own suggestions for me to try tomorrow morning?

You're a Jock. I'd of thought it would've been as plain as your missing underwear, your ginger hair, your Gorbel's patois and your proclivity to consume bathtubs of McEwans. Tuck into a couple of deep fried Mars Bars. You need a sugar hit.

Iain was born a Jock but he lives not far from us in the south of France. I don't know if there are Mars bars available round us. Noilly Prat will give him a sugar lift. Then he needs some Bayonne ham and melon (more sugar) washed down with something cool and pink. Intermarche in Herepian currently sells a wine with the unpromising name of Badge of Pink. But it is a gold medal winner and delicious.
Menudo.
(Not the way it's made in central México, but more of a "frontera" version. Still, looks effective.)
A lot of sports drink, and laying low. I can never sleep after 9am, no matter how tired or jetlagged or hungover I may be, but I make it a point to rehydrate.

Irn Bru, obviously, Jock.
P.S. Did you know that the current spelling is a result of trade laws? It's not a brew and it's not made of iron, despite the "Made in Scotland from girders" line.
