I have not yet read Nutrax thread re. rising prices changing eating habits, but I am aware of dumpster diving as a phenomenon in the USA. Has anyone done it in the UK? Supermarkets in my area have all their waste disposal fenced off, no way I could climb over.

Years ago but not for food, my best find was 2 Eero Saarinen Tulip chairs from the 50s/60's. Nowadays I sometimes buy off the reduced shelf.

I recently got a carpet my neighbor was throwing out.
Used to go to a doughnut factory and get boxes of them.(doughnuts, not carpets).
