Hello again, Ms Rash

Ye'll be delighted to read that I did visit Clitheroe for three days and it was superb. Lancashirians (if this is the word) are exceptionally warm and straight forward. As for the shire itself, it must be the most underestimated in Britain: superb, uncrowded walks; great pubs and food. I'm going back for a week in Aug or Sep.

I could go on but am mindful I should probably have PMed this. Still, it won't hurt if some read a wee bit about the delights of Lancashire; I can't believe it took me so long to discover its delights.

Carry on punning! (Niner: do hang around.)

Glad you liked it, It's a place that never bores me (Lancashire that is). I was planning a trip to Pendle but ended up in Wythenshawe General for 2 weeks then convalesced in Cheshire instead.

2 weeks of hospital food has left me with a bad taste in my mouth, I can't get over how bad the food was.

I hope ye are well again, Ms Rash. Beloved and I would be delighted if ye would sip tea (or even drink some wine or beer) with us when next we visit Clitheroe - this Aug or Sep.
