Will she be streaking?

4

Brilliant, arbon. And a great pun, Myanmar'. (I can't better it and I imagine Niner would've have a job to.)

5

#3 a bacon bra wrapped around 2 fried eggs sunny side up

6

That's worse than my wee cherry tomatoes - which I opted not tae post.

7

This post really sizzles.

Is bacon fried at nudist camps

9

This post really sizzles is wonderful.

Is bacon fried at nudist camps I doubt it very much - maybe at male masochism camps.

10

Check you guys out. Going hog wild with the bacon puns.

Well done.

11

Hog wild - well done :)

13

Thank you tony!

Arbon's got bacon butt.

14

Is a bacon butt a joint with the bone left in?

Is bacon fried at nudist camps

Dear Abby (advice columnist) once got a letter from somebody whose wife slept in the nude & didn't dress before cooking breakfast. Abby replied "It's all right with me, but tell her to put on an apron when she's frying bacon.''

16

I think all the people who went to Camp Bacon were greedy pigs...

17

One can't help getting at least a bit piggish where bacon is concerned.

18

I wonder what a sommelier would recommend as a swine pairing?

19

Even when we are able to live "Higher on the Hog" the smell of bacon get's us...

20

Settle down now, people. No need to ham it up.

Hello again, Ms Rash

Ye'll be delighted to read that I did visit Clitheroe for three days and it was superb. Lancashirians (if this is the word) are exceptionally warm and straight forward. As for the shire itself, it must be the most underestimated in Britain: superb, uncrowded walks; great pubs and food. I'm going back for a week in Aug or Sep.

I could go on but am mindful I should probably have PMed this. Still, it won't hurt if some read a wee bit about the delights of Lancashire; I can't believe it took me so long to discover its delights.

Carry on punning! (Niner: do hang around.)

24

Glad you liked it, It's a place that never bores me (Lancashire that is). I was planning a trip to Pendle but ended up in Wythenshawe General for 2 weeks then convalesced in Cheshire instead.

2 weeks of hospital food has left me with a bad taste in my mouth, I can't get over how bad the food was.

25

Ivor! Why were you in the hospital? Are you okay?

26

Liked it? Nae, I loved it!

I was planning a trip to Pendle but ended up in Wythenshawe General for 2 weeks then convalesced in Cheshire instead.

I hope ye are well again, Ms Rash. Beloved and I would be delighted if ye would sip tea (or even drink some wine or beer) with us when next we visit Clitheroe - this Aug or Sep.

27

We'll take that as a 'no', dear.

What's a Pikey ?

28

We'll take that as a 'no', dear.

what as a "no".

This is better one than I would give you

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pikey

29

You really must learn tae provide links (as distinct from the URL), Ms Rash.

30

I really must learn to use a PC, it drives me scatty.

31

"I really must learn to use a PC, it drives me scatty"

"Pikey" and "Scatty",.... which get's the most blame in your non PC World?

32

I note just how enjoyable some find the quirks of PCs.

However, Ms Rash, we shall be in Clitheroe from 13-21 August, inclusive - arbon is welcome to bring you, if you are are civil - and I have no reason tae believe ye will be otherwise.

33

Or pick yer own chaperone... :)

34

I have a bacon pun! I have a bacon pun!
Its not Lancashirians, Tony, its Lancastrians.
I thought you worked for the BBC? I think you may be telling porkies.

35

Congratulations on the bacon porkies pun, ACDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ (if I may use yer full title).

I did originally type Lancastrians and then looked it up before posting - after which I changed it, having formed the opinion that this referred solely to people from the city of Lancaster whereas I wanted to include people from the county of Lancashire, especially to include the town of Clitheroe.

Perhaps Ms Rash would be good enough to enlighten us.

36

Lancastrians or Lancashire folk and even though the boundary reform removed Liverpudlians Mancunians and the Northern parts of the lake district they are and always will be Lancastrians.

37

Noted with thanks, Ms Rash - with apologies for delay.
