I have read about vegetarians hallucinating before.

What I don't understand is why they try to make vegetables look like meat. If people are vegetarians it is because they don't want to eat meat. Why would they then want their vegetables to look like they are eating meat? Can anyone solve this mystery for me? Ta.

I don't, but I guess it makes it easier for those in transition.

I remember when my wife was in transition, she nearly took a bit my head off.

This is authentic Japanese food.... served in Chiba-ken north of Tokyo.... Sad to say, I've never eaten 'authentic' Japanese food outside of Japan!

The city where I live is notorious for Japanese food restaurant knock-offs-all dreadful.

Strikes me that the world if full of non-x chefs doing it better than x chefs - so, fine by me. (Tho' 'exec' chefs I've yet to be convinced about, as a breed.)
