That gives us a week get our our offensive posts in. Alas, I shall be away.

Tomorrow we leave for Switzerland to stay in a chalet that Ateach52 has rented. So there will be no opportunity to interact with Tonya.

FYI, Ateach52 has refused my offer of cooking a meal. Since the chalet doesn't have internet she won't know that I am paying no attention. It will be simple: some local salami-type sausage and olives; confit de canard and pommes sarlardaises; salad; a local melon. And nice wines. Eaten on the balcony with a view of snow-capped mountains.

So, to make use of Tonya's post, I shan't be here for a week.

Baz - alas, there'll be no snow-capped mountains in Edinburgh (I trust!) but maybe some nice wine. Enjoy the chalet - and I have no doubt ye most certainly shall. And there'll be time aplenty for future interaction...
