I graduate this May, and I want to take a year off before going to college to travel. The only problem is, I'm not sure where to begin with planning this. I would like to go to Oregon, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, and other parts of the U.S. as well as the U.K. and Canada. I would like to volunteer with the WWOOF program as well as with other volunteer websites like workaway. I have a few questions..

1) I am an 18 year old female, and I would like to travel solo or with someone who's…

Im thinking of volunteering abroad (Childcare based) in Summer 2015 or 2016. I have looked at several different companies: BUNAC, Real Gap, Plan my Gap Year and Volunteer Solutions.
However money is an issue, and I have found that Volunteer Solutions is the cheapest, although has anyone used them? Are they good and reliable?

Hey! I need some help!!
I'm in my last year of high school right now and definitely looking to travel to Europe next year. My school is offering a trip with EF tours to Paris, Spain and Barcelona for 10 days for ~3400 CND and since I'm never been to Europe before I thought this would be my best choice for my first time. However those cities are not my first choice and many people have told me I can do a lot more with that money.
Travelling to Europe seemed like a lonely and scary experience…

I feel like this question must be posted constantly, so sorry about that! I have been researching this lately and have been thinking about getting the certificate. Although I am in college I do not have a degree. Teaching is a great career, but it is not something I think I will want to do permanently. I do realize I will have to stay in most countries for a year, which is fine by me because it will allow me to really experience the culture of the area. But anyways, to the main point of my…

Hi all. I'm off next week on my travels. Thailand for 23 nights on my way over to Australia where I have a year long working visa and I'm hoping to find ba job. I've been looking at getting the "worldwide annual trip" option which covers cancellation, medical and baggage... It says no trip longer than 24 days. Does this mean Its OK if I stay put in Australia? If any one can advise on which is the best option please

Hello all!

My husband and I will be traveling over a period of 7 months from Toronto to many areas around the world from SEA to Morocco.
We will be doing everything on public wifi and I am getting worried about how to safely book hostels before we get somewhere? Does anyone have experience with this? I don't feel safe booking and using my credit card from a cafe. Any thoughts / experiences would be appreciated.

:)Mer

I'm leaving early January for my first round the world trip. I have a number of places I'd like to visit and a couple of goals and now I have the time and money to combine a number of them and turn it into a round the world trip.

Would love some feedback on my rough itinerary and budget. And I am travelling solo!

I'll start my trip flying from Amsterdam to Washington DC (booked) and spend a week there with friends. From there the train to LA using Amtrak (booked), my flight from LA to Bali is…

Hi

I'm asking this before the actual book comes out because I'm so impatient hahaha. Regardless, where do you guys think the best place to travel is? Could you give me your recommendations from what you have heard, and what seems the most sensible and most enjoyable place to go to in 2015?

Thanks guys really appreciate it!
