Currently I find myself in Namche Nepal resting and acclimating to the elevation as it snows outside so it seems like a good day to make this post.
I will be on this trek to Gokyo/Everest Base Camp for most of March then headed to do the Annapurna circuit after but once these treks are over it leaves me wondering where to go? I've heard of numerous people heading to Thailand which sounds wonderful and certainly strikes my interest due to the high activity of rock climbing, although I am solo and don't have a partner so maybe climbing wouldn't be so easy for a lone traveler?
I've looked into volunteer Oppurtunities a bit and found the need for climbing/hiking help in Jordan which sounds interesting but i would be upset if I spent much of my money on flights with little left over to travel... Although Egypt has always stirred my interests since I was little so maybe this would be enough of a reason to head that way?
France and the Chamonix area deeply interests me for the beauty but I do think this could be possibly out of my price range. I've left America with roughly 10,000$ which seems to go far in Nepal but at the same time I wonder how far it'd go elsewhere?
It seems parts of Asia may be my best bet, possibly Cambodia (Angkor Wat would be amazing) but what do I know?
So after reading some of my vague ideas, what do you think would be best for this lone 24 (25 in June) American male? I don't speak any other languages also beyond extremely poor Spanish although I would love to Learn Potentially during a volunteer stay teaching English.
I also didn't get any vaccines aside from for the flu before leaving, would this be a concern?
