I have read this forum a bit and know that its important to read the fine print for travel insurance because they vary a lot. But I don't know what to look for specifically.
My dad (76 but very healthy) and I are going to Burma for 3 weeks and I don't really know what we need or what is a good deal.
Excess is usually important with insurance I guess... and finding one that will cover someone his age- but I'm not sure what else to look at. I would also like to get one that will fly us back to Australia in an emergency and cover medical costs. Or at least fly us back here - because we are hoping for something reasonably priced.
It'd be great to get some general advice, common pitfalls etc. Or does anyone know if Worldcare (Allianz) is any good or can anyone suggest a good value but decent insurance for Australians (especially older people)?
