hi there
I already did my year long RTW trip a few years ago - now I am looking at doing a 2 months RTW trip...probably around Oct/Nov time...Was thinking og going through Asia then Australia and back through the US...as its only 2 months of course I wouldnt have the time to spend too much time in many places so would have to pick lets say 6/8 destinations....
Was thinking flying to Japan or HK then Thailand on my way to Sydney and then back through San francisco/Vegas/NYC...
any ideas/advice is welcomed as I am "structuring" the trip just in these days..

That seems like a good idea for a route thats for sure. Although am not sure if such a route would be covered by the most common RTW ticket types, then again it could be easier using the net to source each flight seperately...
What sort of budget do you have in mind, would make giving a few tips/hints/ideas a little easier.

If you're only doing two months why not just do one region and get a returnticket to this region possibly with different arrival anddeparturepoints to avoid backtracking.

Wow, that's a lot of traveling! Personally, I need my travel time punctuated by some home time.
I don't have any RTW-related advice to give, but maybe I can save you some time researching San Francisco do's - http://piytravel.com/pages/s.piy?t=uscasf

Regardless, enjoy your trip!
