Hi everyone , I hope you are all having a good day .

I have a little problem , basically I have been saving money since the day I left school and that was 2 years ago and now I have 3000 euro , Thats like 4000 dollars . I only plan to travel for 2 months basically a week in each city .

but I have another 1500 dollars just in case and dont worry I wont be carrying it haha

I have everything sorted , like planned and flights all ready to be booked . But now i have come across a problem thats the cost of the accessories .

Like mosquito spray , All purpose soaps , universal adapter , mosquito nets , bag locks , travel towel , backpack cover ,

I was wondering would I be able to buy that stuff in Bangkok cheaper ?

because for the stuff I named above it will cost me around 200 euro ( 270 $ )

I mean thats alot of money for so little and I have searched most shops around my city ( Dublin ) and its same as online .

I dont mind buying the adapter and locks but I was wondering maybe the mosquito sprays and insect repellents.

are they expensive in Bangkok ?

do people usally buy their stuff over in Thailand ?

You can easily buy this in Bangkok. It is cheaper then in Belgium, don't know the prices in Dublin, but I gues it will be similar of those in Belgium.

You can buy it all there.

Mosquito spray is a LOT cheaper in SE Asia than in Europe.

Soap..I just buy a small bar of soap...less than a euro in Thailand etc.No need for fancy soaps,,a normal bar works fine.

The cover often comes with the backpack,,if not, then I'd buy one at the same time.

A couple of small padlocks are not too expensive.Buy combination locks, not the ones with a key.
Like the padlocks,I'd buy the adaptor before you go.That won't be any cheaper in Asia.

I don't use a travel towel..just a cheap sarong, which you can pick up in Bangkok (etc) for a couple of euros.

No need for a mosquito net, unless you are really going off the beaten trail (or planning on sleeping outside).
