hello
im off to china for a year to train in martial arts with the shaolin monks for a year in october, im going to be staying in siping city which is in the jilin province, i was just woundering if you had any sugestions on what to pack and if theres any think in particular u recomend i take

tape a "free tibet" poster to the inside of your underwear, so you can get it out when you get inside china...wait. errrr.

Seriously if you're going for a year you might consider taking a laptop/pda. Maybe also bring pictures of your family/friends to fight homesickness.
