Hello, me and a friend are looking to go travelling for the first time.
Via STA travel we loved the look of UK > Dubai (Transit stop off) > Sri Lanka > Singapore > Australia > New Zealand > NY overland to LA > UK (£1250)
We want to travel in august and be back for Christmas but we're worried with that itinery that it won't match the weather very well.. we would end up in america for winter and be in sri lanka when really hot. We got in contact with STA Travel and they said they can't do the trip vice versa.
So now we're in a pickle! we really want to explore america and loved the sound of sri lanka and singapore and heard lots of exciting stuff about australia.
Is there anyway we could get round this without spending more than £1500? we've been quoted on the trip in vice versa from round the world flights.com and it comes to around £1800..
So if anyone can help us with some suggestions on what we should do it would be perfect..
are there any good companies to go with.. should we do it alone? best seasons for things.. etc etc. thank you!
Alice
