You have until you are 30 years old to make use of the WHV program and in some cases even a year or two more. You don't have to visit everyplace next year or even in the next 5 years. Hence the suggestion to save Europe for another time. Western Europe is best done when you have more money and since it is relatively close, you can go for a couple of weeks at a time.

Good point, it is only a 6 hour flight to Frankfurt from where I live and you can get them pretty cheap! Thanks for all your advice Ruth! I really appreciate it all
