THE only good thing about a RTW ticket would be price...if indeed it is a good price to begin with..

...the savings would have to be considerable to counteract RTW restrictions

...i keep looking at them but so far it's been a no go for me

For those trying to save money, that may be enough reason to get one. As this website focuses on budget travel, I would expect a lot of people to prioritize that.

Under the best of circumstances, airfares can vary substantially, so it pays to shop and compare. The point of departure and routing can make a lot of difference.
