^ My employer in New Zealand sponsored me for a Work Visa once my WHV expired. If my trip had been organized by a third party, like the OP is considering, then that kind of flexibility might not have been an option for me.
I've only worked in countries where income is high enough to save money for future travels (ie. New Zealand, South Korea, and Taiwan). I've had one or two opportunities to work elsewhere, but usually they just involved payment in the form of board and lodging. I prefer to keep my travel time separate from work time.
