Best Credit Card & ATM Card for Year Travel

I am based in the US and plan on a year long travel adventure. Worried about the high costs associated with Credit and ATM Cards. I've heard Capital One does not charge foreign transaction fees. Does anyone know of a good ATM Card I will be traveling through Eastern Europe and Middle East. Thanks.

Rick Steves recommends Capital One, too.

I had a Wells Fargo ATM and credit card on my extended travels a few years ago. They charged a pretty steep $5 per transaction for withdrawls, but no currency conversion fee. It was just easier to keep all of my accounts with them.

Have you tried using the search function here? There are countless posts on this exact subject including one in the FAQ at the top of this page and one just down this page, posted on April 19th by NicoleSlaw. Did you look at all before posting?
