Hi Everyone,
My husband, myself, and 2 kids - girls ages 12 and 10 will be leaving on a round the world tour next year for 12 months. We're very excited and are starting to really look at the details of where we want to go.
Our draft route is as follows:
Russia - Eastern Europe>>Western Europe>>Egypt, (if it's safe and stable), Kenya>>India>>SE Asia>>Australia>>N. Zealand>>China and Japan>>South America>>Canada, (home).
We're seasoned travellers for Western Europe and parts of SE Asia, but this will be a major trip for the kids. We've done the initial research and want to leave from Russia to Western Europe as wide open as possible so we can just go where and whenever. As we head into India we're looking for guidance on where we might go that's safe in terms of health, (we'll get all the necessary shots), as well as interesting beyond the Taj. Any ideas would be most welcome!
We're also looking for ideas around Russia....should we just to go St. Pete's and Moscow and then to Poland - or are there other "must sees" that we should make sure to see.
The kids will be homeschooled and will have projects based upon the historical aspects of each country as well as the "theme parks" and other family friendly activities.
Would love to hear ideas of "must see" for the family.
Thanks in advance!
