My sister finishes secondary school the same time I graduate uni so we're using her gap year and going travelling which I'd already planned to do. So what do you think of the itinerary.

Fly to Paris and make our way across Europe to Turkey
Turkey down through probably Syria and Jordan to Egypt then fly to Tunisia. Don't fancy facing Libya
Fly to Bejing and then through Nepal if we can overland if not flight and India
Australia, New Zealand, Cook Islands
US

All about a year-18 months. Does this sound doable. We'd prefer to do it by one way tickets rather than rtw tickets it'd probably be cheaper that way given some of the countries.
