I've been to Bangladesh,but not for long..only a quick trip to Dhaka.Which IMHO is not worth the trip at all...a large,noisy and dirty city,with not much to see.Maybe the countryside is more interesting!
As above..Myanmar is already very popular.A very interesting country nonetheless.
BTW Istanbul is great,and so is Turkey......if you have a bit more time,its well worth it.I haven't taken that train though I have travelled from one side of the country to the other,and into Iran..a lot more slowly than 3 days ;-)
Well, thanks for letting me know about the amount of tourists in Myanmar, that i clearly undersestimated. It'll be part of the adventure though, for sure.
Lucapal, as for Turkey, I have no doubt it's Worth more than three days but choices have to be made at some point. I liked the train ride because the airfare was much cheaper...and it gave me a reason to see a little bit of Turkey from my train window.
