Hubby and me are planning an Europe holiday for about 20-22 days. The package (Europamundo) we are considering has hotels and transfers alone with some entry tickets included.
However we will be paying for the meals and some attractions entry fee . I would like to know is it better to carry multi currency forex card. Are cards accepted at smaller eateries/ bakery? What would be the suggested ratio of cash to forex card?

We are planning on driving from Vieste to Rome but my partner wants to break it down and stop over somewhere for the night on the way. We would ideally love an authentic Italian town or a wine area. Does anyone have any suggestions or experiences that could point me in the right direction?

Currently planning a year living abroad in Europe. We are a family of 2 parents and 3 young boys (1, 3 & 4 when travelling).
We're doing a cruise from Barcelona in May 2020, and upon completion, we were hoping to do a one-way campervan hire, with a drop off in France 6-8 weeks later (perhaps in Lyon, Dijon or Paris).
Does anyone have any experience with this route or length of hire? Which companies offer this?...we'll be after a 5-6 berth, C-class motorhome.

My research has suggested Katerini to be the most flexible base (non driver) with the Eastern tip of the peninsula being particularly beautiful. (Chrousou, Siviri)

We are arriving in Rome from the US at 7:15 am on American Airlines and continuing on to Albania on Alitalia. There is a flight on Alitalia at 10am and one at 1:30pm. Is there enough time to clear customs and check in for the flight at 10am? Do we have to clear customs, leave the security area and re-enter to get from the American Airlines arrival to the Alitalia departure, or do we just transit and clear customs in Albania?
