traveling to Cantabria, Spain

I'm planning on going to Cantabria, Spain to visit the Cave of Altamira around November time frame and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what to do and see as far as historical or outdoors places go.

The method of travel and details on your other plans would be nice to know to give you some good ideas.
Do you know one can only the copy of the Cave of Altamira?
