Taxi and car hire in Litochoro

If I arrive in Litochoro by train, are there taxis at the station to take me to my hotel? (I read a trip advisor review that said the station was in the middle of nowhere, unmanned and there were no buses.. he didn't mention taxis!)

Alternatively, is there any car hire in Litochoro?

I guess nobody knows? Oh well. I'll find out in a couple of hours.

Do you mean Litochoro beach, Litochoro Military Camp or Litochoro Village?
Anyway, it might be easier to travel by IC train up to Katerini and to go on by taxi from there.

I meant, as outlined in my post, arriving by train hence at the station. So we did, arrive at the station and there was, one taxi. And he was a lovely helpful fellow we have since used to get to Dion and back and will use to get up the mountain tomorrow. However, if we had been the second tourists off the train I have no idea what I would have done.....!
