Snow report

Quite like early summer here ... daytime low 30s, and test cricket on the radio.

Les jours se suivent et se ressemblent in the Swiss Canton of Valais. Yesterday I was at Weissmies Hut (2800m). Not the slightest snow crystal in the area.
According to the weather forecast, the (almost endless) sunny period will end next Friday, however.

London is currently under a amber weather warning for high winds and bizarrely a thunderstorm (I will believe that when I see it). All is rather quiet at the moment, but radar shows a big fat heavy shower sweeping across South West UK and coming for us.

Next week's weather is calling for a 10-12C temperature plunge from Sunday into Monday as winter belatedly arrives. This will be a shock...

Always the same here with very nice sunny days. This will ending at the end of this week said the weather forcastfor. Unfortunately this service said a lot.

The endless sunny period here in the low lying Po valley ended on Saturday when fog settled in.

Snow is forecast to be lying on the ground in London on Sunday morning according to London's Evening Standard newspaper. This guarantees we won't have snow lying on the ground on Sunday morning. It's still forecast to be rather bitter though; gale force winds and a max of 4C. Given it was 15C 2 days ago, this is gonna be a bit of a shock.

It's getting relatively cooler here in Sicily too....18° this morning.

They are forecasting rain and colder here too but right now it's sunny and 18°.

Yesterday, the weather in the Alps was fine and there was no snow up to Plaine Morte, Bella Tola, Schwarzsee, Bettmerhorn, Monte Moro Pass and Cime Bianche. Today, these places are in some snow and incredibly thick fog. Heavy winds (up to 150 km/hr) and rainfall all over most parts of Switzerland.

No snow report but first night with less 5° and today not more than +5° here in the Provence. Dry and gray also for the next days.
