After an extemely short trip through Montenegro (just a few days on the coast in a small village near Kotor-beautiful) we are now in Albania.
Great here..nice friendly people,excellent food,weather is not bad (sunny,29°),and its really cheap,which is always a bonus!
Also..there are only about 4 other tourists in town (we keep bumping into each other)...quite a change after Kotor (though where we were staying was quiet,we went into the town in the evening).
How is it in Beijing Ansh? Are the rivers still black and the sky brown? Or have they cleaned it up? ;-)
Only in Beijing for a day- leaving this afternoon. Haven't felt the pollution, I'm sure it would be a different story in winter. But with only a day, and my first time, I just had to hit the must-sees ;-).
Heavy rain again after another thunderstorm. The weather forecast goes on like this for next week as well.
I'm missing the walking trips to the Alps, but this summer they are almost impossible...
We had some fog this morning! Very unusual in summer, even though it's 20°. There was also a 10° drop between Thursday and Friday, after a huge thrunderstorm. Yesterday looked more like late autumn than summer. Now the fog has lifted but it's still rather gray.
Chiara I happened to see the Italian news last night (I'm in Albania,and they show Rete 4 here ;-)......the weather looks terrible in the north.No summer this year?
Back home, and as much as I love travelling, I must admit at this time of the year, Bangalore weather is unbeatable. A bit overcast, breezy and 28 degrees at the moment.
No rain, no wind, no grey sky - at 07:00 we got 15° but this afternoon the same as in Bangalore now.
